Pediatric LPN

Location: Manchester Pediatric Medical Day Care (Arista Care at Manchester, 1770 Tobias Ave, Manchester Township, NJ 08759)

Schedule: Part-time

Position Summary

The Pediatric Nurse (LPN) is responsible for directing and monitoring the daily activities of room assistants while ensuring high-quality nursing care in compliance with MPMDC program standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines. This role supports coordinated, participant-centered care and promotes a positive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee the day-to-day functions of room assistants in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and MPMDC program guidelines.
  • Ensure all written policies and procedures are followed by both licensed and non-licensed staff assigned to the activity room.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate nursing services and maintain each participant’s overall plan of care.
  • Complete required administrative duties, including medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, and documentation.
  • Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies.
  • Represent the facility in a positive and professional manner to families, job applicants, visitors, and the community.
  • Complete all required training and educational courses through the Healthcare Academy.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Current, active, and unencumbered LPN license in the State of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of pediatric experience required.
  • Early childhood development experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a structured care environment.
