The Accounting Clerk supports the daily operations of the Accounting Department by performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop a career in accounting and finance. The Accounting Clerk will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, account reconciliations, and other administrative accounting functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process and enter invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
· Prepare and maintain accounting records, files, and supporting documentation.
· Verify the accuracy of financial information and identify discrepancies.
· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
· Maintain vendor and customer records.
· Process customer payments and prepare bank deposits.
· Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
· Assist with audits by gathering and organizing supporting documentation.
· Perform data entry and maintain accounting databases and spreadsheets.
· Support the Controller and Accounting team with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Previous office, bookkeeping, or accounting experience is preferred.
+ Shift 7:30 am - 4:30pm
+ Pay range $23 - $25
** Pay Details:** $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
