• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs from full sets of construction documents
• Develop complete hard bids for ground‑up commercial projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda for scope clarity
• Solicit and manage subcontractor bids to ensure strong coverage
• Perform bid leveling and scope gap analysis
• Coordinate with preconstruction and operations teams during pursuits
• Support value engineering and cost optimization strategies
• Maintain accurate bid documentation and estimate backups
• Assist with handoff to project teams post‑award
• Track market pricing and subcontractor trends

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience preferred
• Experience with ground‑up commercial or institutional projects
• Strong understanding of plan‑and‑spec estimating workflows
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documents
• Experience managing subcontractor bid coverage
• Proficiency with Bluebeam required
• Familiarity with OST, Procore, or similar tools preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
