Electrical Project Manager

DES Electrical, Inc. is a growing commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in Whittier, CA. We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead projects from buyout through closeout — managing budgets, schedules, crews, and client relationships while keeping our work to the high standard our name is built on.

• Manage commercial and industrial electrical projects from buyout through final closeout.
• Own project budgets, billing, change orders, and cost tracking to protect margin.
• Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate manpower, material, and equipment with the field.
• Partner with the Superintendent and field crews to keep jobs on time and on budget.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, procurement, and vendor/subcontractor relationships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, owners, and inspectors.
• Review plans and specifications; support estimating and value-engineering as needed.
• Drive jobsite safety and code compliance on every project.

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of current electrical codes, standards, and field practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, single-lines, and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with construction software — Procore, Bluebeam, Raken, and Intelli Bid (or similar) preferred.
• Solid budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership; able to manage crews and client relationships.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 / year — pay based on experience
