Requirements / QualificationsExperience Desired:

Education:
Senior in high school on a work/study program or student currently enrolled in College or College graduate Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirement: AA degree, 48 college semester units or passing of the District's Instructional Assistant Test Strong Math & English background as reflected by transcript All requirements must be provided at time of application
- Letter of Introduction (Please include your experience qualifying you for this position)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (1-Within the last 12 months)
- NCLB Compliance (AA degree or 48 college semester units or passing of the school districts Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) testing. Please provide unofficial transcripts.)
- Proof of HS Graduation (or Senior in High School on a work/study program providing school transcript)

The East Whittier City School District provides educational opportunities (transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, including special education) for approximately 9,000 children. The District employs approximately 1,075 teachers, administrators and support staff. We have 13 schools which operate on a traditional school year schedule.
