Position Title:
Environmental Technology Instructor, Part-Time
Position Type:
Faculty Part Time Pool (up to 60%)
Location:
Main Campus, High School partners
- Teach courses as assigned during day or evening, weekday or weekend, or online.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in teaching.
- Perform other professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of community college faculty, per Board Policies and California Education Code.
- Ensure any degree from a foreign country is evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date; provide certification and transcript copies.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) plus 2 years of related professional experience.
- OR Associate degree (or equivalent foreign degree) plus six years of related professional experience.
- OR Valid California Community College Credential authorizing service in the appropriate subject matter.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
- Experience teaching environmental technology or related subjects.
- Experience with online instruction.

Additional Requirements- Verification of identity and work authorization per I‑9.
- Fingerprinting via Live Scan (at applicant expense).
- Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam, renewed every 4 years.
- For positions requiring a valid California driver’s license, proof of insurability.
