• Teach courses as assigned during day or evening, weekday or weekend, or online.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in teaching.
• Perform other professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of community college faculty, per Board Policies and California Education Code.
• Ensure any degree from a foreign country is evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date; provide certification and transcript copies.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) plus 2 years of related professional experience.
• OR Associate degree (or equivalent foreign degree) plus six years of related professional experience.
• OR Valid California Community College Credential authorizing service in the appropriate subject matter.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students.

• Experience teaching environmental technology or related subjects.
• Experience with online instruction.

• Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam, renewed every 4 years.
