Responsibilities

  • Assignment may include teaching courses as assigned during day or evening, weekday or weekend, or online.
  • Maintain a commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in teaching.
  • Perform other professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of community college faculty as described by Board Policies and California Education Code.
Qualifications
  • Any Bachelor’s degree AND at least two years of professional experience OR any Associate degree AND at least six years of professional experience OR equivalent.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
  • Any degree from a country other than the United States must be evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date. Certification must be attached with copies of transcripts.
