- Prepare and oversee monthly management reporting, including individual entity and consolidated financial statements, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
- Direct accounts payable operations to ensure timely and accurate payments, maintaining a robust three-way matching process.
- Analyze and approve monthly AP aging schedules and related accruals.
- Lead global treasury functions and manage banking relationships across the U.S. and Mexico, including ongoing compliance with lender covenant reporting.
- Oversee inventory management processes such as item setup, cost maintenance, physical counts, and inventory audits.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and planning tools, including annual budgets, cash flow projections, and forecasts.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments and coordinate insurance coverage with brokers, including General Liability, Umbrella, EPL, Cyber, D&O, and Workers’ Compensation.
- Manage ERP-based accounting operations and support finance-related system initiatives, with minimal involvement in broader IT projects.
- Supervise the data reporting function responsible for operational, sales, and financial reporting.
- Review and approve bi-weekly payroll prepared by HR, including validation of payroll statistics and controls.
- Ensure compliance with corporate tax obligations and financial regulations, including timely filings, ESOP and 401(k) audits, and customs-related reporting (e.g., CTPAT).
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and valuation specialists for quarterly and annual requirements.
- Oversee HR administrative functions, including benefits enrollment, workers’ compensation claims and audits, performance review processes, and employee programs.
- Respond to inquiries from the CEO/Founder and senior leadership team by preparing ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and sensitivity models.
- Lead, mentor, and manage accounting and finance staff, including teams based in the U.S. and Mexico.
- Support the Head of Finance with special projects, audits, and strategic initiatives as needed.
