Core Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial accounting, reporting, and month‑end close activities with full GAAP and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage governmental accounting processes, including milestone payments, FAR compliance, and agency interactions.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic growth.
  • Oversee cost accounting, analyze cost structures, and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure consistent compliance across financial workflows.
  • Partner with operations, leadership, and project teams to align financial processes with business goals.
Requirements Experience
  • 8–10 years of experience as a Controller or senior financial leader.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing with hands‑on responsibility for governmental accounting and compliance.
Technical Expertise
  • Strong command of GAAP, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial operations.
  • Deep understanding of governmental accounting, FAR compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Leadership & Skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving.
