The Registration Clerk performs clerical duties as required by PIH Health Breast Center Whittier to meet the needs of the patient and facilitating the delivery of care. Strong customer service skills are essential. Duties may include filing, image management, copying, scheduling, phone messaging, data entry, collection of patient liability and support of mammography auditor clerical tasks as well as other tasks as assigned.

This position may require travel to off‑site locations.

This position will provide clerical support for the Radiation Oncology Department. Insure entry of appropriate patient information and utilization of correct patient account. Verify insurance eligibility for all patients and obtain authorization prior to patient visit.

Performs registration, specimen accessioning, processing, test ordering, clerical duties, faxing and telephone answering.
