Lab Information System Analyst

Assists the LIS Manager in the management of the laboratory information system, laboratory Charge Master maintenance, billing, and regulatory and compliance issues.

• Technical background in laboratory science
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of laboratory information systems and computers, including word processing and spreadsheets
• Working knowledge of Laboratory Charge Master
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (CLIA, DHS, CAP, Joint Commission)
• Writing and technical writing skills
• Problem solving ability
• Precise with details and organizational skills

Required:

• 5 years previous laboratory information system (LIS) maintenance experience
• 5 years of good general knowledge of all laboratory sections

Preferred:

• California Clinical Laboratory license
