Responsibilities
- Perform tasks associated with serving patient meal trays, hot and cold entrees, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and supplements.
- Take and log hot and cold food temperatures on the trayline and log dish machine and refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
- Load patient trays into meal carts and deliver meal carts/late trays to patients’ nursing stations.
- Perform various cleaning tasks, including detail cleaning, washing dishes, and washing pots and pans.
- Be responsible for stocking and cleaning work areas.
- Work on the patient trayline to include set-up and service as well as breakdown and sanitation.
- Comply with food safety (HACCP) standards.
- May be asked to perform other food‑service tasks as needed.
