Industrial Cryogenics Technician
Monday-Friday 5:30am-4pm & Saturdays 5:30am-10:30am
$27.00-$29.00/hr
A company in the city of Whittier is looking for an Industrial Cryogenics Technician. The company provides high tech cryogenic equipment and services to major companies worldwide. Impacting aerospace and medical industries. You are applying with Express Employment Professionals.
Industrial Cryogenics Technician Responsibilities:- Assemble new reciprocating and new centrifugal pumps and systems.
- Performs liquid nitrogen testing & hydrostatic pressure testing.
- Performs assembly of new expander packaged systems.
- Perform repairs on pumps (centrifugal and piston) and repairs on expanders.
- Performs troubleshooting (fault finding) of mechanical equipment and components.
- Clean and assemble equipment to oxygen service standards.
- Follow all relevant procedures and instructions.
- Ensure machinery is assembled and tested according to the procedures and design criteria.
- Electro-mechanical trade school or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience in technical field
- Ability to read blue-print (mechanical)
- Experience with industrial equipment
- Ability to use measurements devices
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Good Computer skills (Microsoft and similar)
- Knowledge of cryogenic equipment
- Understanding of rotating equipment and oxygen cleaning
