Nursing Instructor, Part-Time

Responsibilities

Assignment may include teaching courses in clinical/theory classes in the ADN and/or VN programs as assigned during day and evening hours. You must have a commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in the fields of teaching. Other professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of members of community college faculty are described by Board Policies and the California Education Code.

Any degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date. Certification must be attached with copies of transcripts.

• Master’s in nursing
• Bachelor’s in nursing
• Master’s in health education or health science
• The equivalent
• The minimum qualifications as set by the Board of Registered Nursing

Clinical experience in medical‑surgical nursing and gerontology and/or psychiatric nursing and/or obstetrics/women’s health and/or pediatrics.
