Certified Nursing Assistant Or Nursing Assistant
Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for our Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg.
The Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN. The CNA/NA position is directly responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized basic nursing care. The CNA/NA utilizes knowledge of the patient's age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. The CNA/NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
