Position: Installer / Production Specialist
FASTSIGNS #69908 is hiring for an Installer to join our team! As an Installer, you’ll play an important role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. You’ll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out.
Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary! In fact, most of your days will be spent moving, lifting and building for a wide variety of sign installations.

Responsible for all offsite sign and print media installationsAble to assess an environment for the needs and techniques of the installationReviews job requirements and verifies measurements before startingAble to work independently and with other team members when requiredPrepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of imagesOperate and maintain printer(s)Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standardsPerform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed piecesReport inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchiseeClean and maintain storage areasIdeal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Installer:
Clean driving record18 years of age or older1-2 years of experience in sign production. Experience in install preferredPrevious experience in sign installation, construction, or a related field preferredProficiency with hand tools and equipment used in sign installationStrong understanding of safety procedures and practicesBasic carpentry, electrical, or welding skills, if applicableScissor lift and bucket truck experience preferred but not requiredAbility to lift heavy materials and equipmentComfortable working at heights, such as ladders, scaffolding, or liftsGood physical stamina and manual dexterityAbility to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)Ability to lift 50 or more poundsFlexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrateAbility to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality workExperience in Adobe Illustrator preferredAbility to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomouslyDo you enjoy working with people?
