Salary Range: $19.00 To $19.50 Hourly

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Route Relief Specialist’s primary duty and responsibility is to effectively provide relief services for various routes (including open and vacation routes). This involves driving delivery trucks (typically
12-16 bay side loader, bulk trucks and vans) to assigned accounts as scheduled, deliver Pepsi products to customer’s designated receiving/stocking area, merchandise/stock designated Pepsi space (shelves, coolers, racks etc.), and generate accurate invoicing for daily settlement. It may also include making sales and obtaining replenishment orders in assigned accounts.

The position requires cross‑training experience. Position may also be responsible for assisting in the training process of new employees and for assisting managers in servicing their territories.

LICENSES OR

CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid Class A Commercial driver's license (CDL) in good standing and an excellent driving history for the last 7 years. Driving record within MVR policy guidelines:
No license revocation, suspension, DUI/DWI, careless or reckless driving.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES ("SKA")

REQUIRED:

• Demonstrated handheld computer skills for sales/settlement Demonstrated driving skills requiring a CDL license (for example, performing basic functions like driving forward, shifting, braking, driving backward, or maneuvering in tight spaces)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• This position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20 – 55 pounds, and moving pallets with a pallet jack. Must be able to push/pull up to 50-250 pounds.
• Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting
• Must be able to perform frequent reaching over the shoulder, from waist level and from the floor

WORKING CONDITIONS: The environmental conditions under which the employee must perform the functions/tasks of this position may include customer accounts locations with extremes of heat or cold, outdoors or indoors, wet or dry, noise levels, or some safety hazards.
