Location:

Shift: 8‑5 M‑F
Responsibilities- Greeting consumers, answering phone calls in a professional manner, directing calls to appropriate staff members or taking messages as necessary.
- Expediting hotline call logs on a daily basis, keeping forms well stocked, maintaining an accurate filing system for immediate information retrieval, running reports for staff members as needed, and taking minutes during staff meetings.
- Maintaining records for Alternative Treatment Recommendations as requested by the Wichita County Court System and ensuring they are delivered to the Mental Health Coordinators office in a timely manner.
- Obtaining purchase orders, maintaining the purchase order book, and purchasing supplies or repairs under the authority of the appropriate program manager.
- Managing data essential to service delivery.
- Implementing trauma‑informed practices, including cultural sensitivity, within the scope of work.
- Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of fax machine, personal computer, and copier.
- Experience with Windows software, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Must possess a current driver’s license and be insurable under Center insurance.
- Must pass all Center‑mandated trainings, including van‑driving classes.
- Ability to read and proof correspondences, reports, computer printouts, etc.
- Excellent spelling and grammar; ability to write memos, letters, complex reports, and miscellaneous documents.
- Ability to perform addition and subtraction and to count money.
- Ability to complete financial assessments following procedures set out by DSHS.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions, communicate courteously and effectively with co‑workers, consumers and families, agencies, and the public.
- Skilled in the use of personal and network computers, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and office‑management software (Microsoft Office), Smart Care, and familiarity with CARE.
- Ability to use copy machine, fax machine, computer, and printer; experience with pager, telephone, dictation/transcribing equipment.
