Third Future Schools is a high-achieving, growing network of charter schools. The Southern Hills Elementary campus in Wichita Falls, TX seeks a DYAD Mixed Martial Arts Consultant to lead engaging elective classes for students.

Students will participate in DYAD Electives, a specialized experiential learning model that builds critical thinking, communication, creativity, and other 21st‑century skills through hands‑on learning experiences. Elective courses may include technology, fitness, arts, and other enrichment activities.

This role is part of the DYAD program, which connects classroom learning with community‑based expertise. DYAD consultants provide real‑world experience and hands‑on learning opportunities. The Art Consultant helps students build creativity, confidence, self‑expression, problem‑solving skills, and habits of success.

• Provide engaging, structured, and experience‑based instruction in art
• Develop and provide their own curriculum aligned to the elective they teach
• Independently plan, lead, and manage a class that reflects both their expertise and the expectations of the DYAD program
• Create a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment
• Actively teach, monitor, and engage students throughout the class period
• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school expectations
• Ensure students are participating in meaningful, hands‑on learning experiences
• Communicate professionally with campus staff and leadership
• Be prepared, consistent, and dependable in daily instruction
• Use their expertise to connect classroom learning to real‑world experiences
• Contribute positively to the culture of the school and the integrity of the DYAD program
• Create opportunities for parents and families to see and celebrate what students have accomplished through art showcases, presentations, displays, or other demonstrations of learning

• Skill, knowledge, and first‑hand experience in art or a related creative field
• Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills

This is an hourly position paid at $30 per hour. No benefits are provided.
