Primary PurposeThe Wichita Falls ISD is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Substitute Teacher to support classroom instruction and maintain a safe, productive learning environment.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of subjects assigned
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and handbook.
- Take all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain daily attendance in assigned classroom(s).
- Implement lesson plans left by the classroom teacher or as assigned by campus administration.
- Maintain a professional relationship with campus staff.
- Be a positive role model for students.
- Support the mission of the school district.

Mental Demands:
Maintain emotional control under stress.
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
