Job duties:

develop and implement individualized instructional programs for middle school students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals and curriculum standards. Participate in ARD committee meetings to develop, review, and revise IEPs in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and support staff. Deliver specialized instruction using differentiated teaching strategies, assistive technology, and adapted materials to meet diverse learning needs. Modify general education curriculum and collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusion and ensure access to grade-level content.

Assess student performance using formal and informal evaluation methods, monitor progress toward IEP goals, and adjust instruction accordingly. Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior intervention plans to support students' social, emotional, and academic development. Maintain accurate and compliant records, including IEP documentation, progress reports, and required educational records in accordance with federal, state, and district regulations. Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students' educational and developmental needs.
