Bradford Elementary is seeking a library paraprofessional to support students and staff with library services, promotes literacy, manages library materials.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily library operations and circulation of materials.

* Check books and other resources in and out using the library management system.

* Shelve, organize, and inventory books and library materials.

* Help students locate books, research materials, and technology resources.

* Support classroom visits and literacy activities.

* Process new books, repair damaged materials, and remove outdated resources.

* Supervise students in the library while maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment.

* Assist with technology, including computers, printers, and educational devices used in the library.

* Collaborate with teachers and staff to support curriculum-related library activities.

* Maintain accurate records and assist with library reports and inventory.

* Encourage positive student behavior and foster a love of reading and lifelong learning.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the librarian or school administration.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Experience working with children preferred.

* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and staff.

* Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn library management software.
