The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls is a non-profit that helps youth ages 6-18 achieve academic success, health & wellbeing, character & leadership, and life & workforce readiness through award-winning after-school and summer programs. We are currently recruiting several part-time youth development staff to join our growing team in one of four locations across the city.

THE ROLE: Plan and run safe, fun, and enriching activities for youth in various program spaces as assigned; BGCWF’s 5 state-of-the-art Clubs’ program spaces span Large Gyms, Small Gyms, Learning Centers, Game Rooms, Art Studios, Dance Studios, Teen Centers & Multi-Purpose Rooms / Libraries. Promote positive behavior, inclusion, and encouragement while maintaining equipment and enforcing safety standards.
Education required: High school diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Educators, para-educators seeking after-school and/or summer work opportunities strongly encouraged to apply. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is a plus.
Experience required: Previous work or volunteer experience with children and/or teens required. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain in BGCWF-sponsored training. Experience providing youth instruction in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred: sports / athletics, fine arts, music, dance, academic tutoring, STEM or other academic enrichment, summer camp environment, cooking, mental health awareness, social-emotional regulation, leadership development programs, other.
