Position Overview:
Wichita Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic team and fill a part-time teaching position. The ideal candidate will inspire students to appreciate the Spanish language and culture while integrating Christian principles into their teaching. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment where students can thrive academically and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote language acquisition.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Integrate Christian values and principles into language instruction and classroom activities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Spanish (or eligibility for certification).
• Strong proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a Christian or private school setting.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
