College of the Mainland invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor – Massage Therapy
. The instructor will be responsible for teaching Massage Therapy courses, developing course materials, and guiding students toward professional success in the field.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed massage therapy professional to share their expertise, mentor future practitioners, and contribute to a respected educational institution.

• Current Texas Massage Therapy Instructor License (required)

• Minimum two years of professional experience in the field of Massage Therapy
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and digital tools

• Associate degree or higher
• Prior teaching experience in Massage Therapy

• Mastery of massage therapy course content

• Knowledge of professional and state licensing requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) rules and laws related to Massage Therapy

• Develop and follow course syllabi in accordance with institutional and state guidelines

• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate academic records
• Meet and advise students regarding coursework and performance
• Submit required reports and forms promptly
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and orientations as needed

• Texas Massage Therapy Instructor License (Required)

• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform movements such as reaching, standing, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and seeing
