- Execute contractual obligations according to customer requirements and site activities
- Maintain, repair, or replace parts to correct malfunctions
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch and variable speed turbines
- Assist in all areas of site operations as directed by the manager with minimal supervision
- Perform diagnostic electrical analysis
- Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures
- Work with and respond to GE’s remote operations center when necessary
- Work with site leadership, the Site Lead, and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines
- Work at all wind sites within Texas Hub 9 and report to any assigned site within the hub
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic
- OR minimum of 2 years of work experience inclusive of hydraulic and electrical experience, experience using basic power hydraulic tools, passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment, and basic computer skills
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to lift repetitive weight of up to 45 lbs. unassisted
- Ability and willingness to climb towers of 300+ feet regularly
- Meet specified manufacturer weight limits not to exceed 300 lbs. including required gear
- Understand electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
- Ability and willingness to work in industrial, manufacturing, and power industry facilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shift schedules and on‑call per site needs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
- Desired:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical, Electrical, or Electronics field - Desired:

Experience with heavy equipment for facility maintenance and working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements
Demonstrates expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, with a strong focus on wind turbine operations and maintenance. Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
