Mechanical Engineer – HVAC (Solid Works)
Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its plant located in Wichita Falls, TX
.
We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop next‑generation HVAC equipment — from concept through production release. If you enjoy hands‑on engineering, solving complex thermal/mechanical problems, and seeing your designs hit the production floor, this role is for you.
What You’ll Work On- On3D modeling in Solid Works, prototype reviews, and test plan development
- Engineering drawings, tolerance stack‑ups, and compliance with Standard Work
- FEA, DFx, and design optimization for manufacturability and assembly
- BOM creation, cost analysis, and manufacturing routings
- Heat‑transfer component design and refrigeration system simulation
- Cross‑functional design reviews and product launch support
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5+ years expertise in designing HVAC equipment (unit ventilators, HEPA/high‑static, rooftop AHUs, economizers, fan coils)
- Experience with GD&T, DFX, and hands‑on troubleshooting
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly across teams
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint;
Visual Basic is a plus
HVAC equipment design, refrigeration coils, hydronic coils, air‑moving subsystems, and full lifecycle product development.
