Systems Support Technician
This position requires a Public Trust clearance.
Role Overview :As a Client Support Technician (CST) responsible for sustaining, troubleshooting, and repairing unclassified technical training IT network information systems. This role requires advanced proficiency in tier 2 software support, backend infrastructure diagnostics, and enterprise directory management.

Responsibilities Include:- Diagnose issues beyond the scope of Level 1 support, requiring backend infrastructure knowledge, log analysis.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot approved laptops, desktops, printers, network-connected copiers, scanners, immersive training devices, and other office IT equipment.
- Manage OS imaging, software packaging, and system deployment for new and existing devices. Execute Department of the Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration (DAF SDC) and commercial non‑SDC updates and patching.
- Manage enterprise directories (e.g., Active Directory). Resolve network‑related trouble tickets and manage domain computer accounts.
- Provide software support, specializing in software associated with the SDC (e.g., MS Office, Adobe, authorized Web Browsers).
- Perform maintenance consistent with manufacturer warranties to maintain the integrity of the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
- Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted timelines.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Security+ certification. Must maintain technical and management certifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
