Floor Tech Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team for the M-F shift (2:30p-8:30p). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Blue Cross Blue Shield floors using specialized equipment and cleaning techniques. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

• Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors.
• Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and polish various types of flooring (tile, carpet, concrete, etc.).
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage to prevent accidents.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Replenish supplies and ensure storage areas are clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams.
• Always adhere to security and safety protocols.

• Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
