Role summary: The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for overseeing exterior facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. About the team: The Exterior Services team is dedicated to maintaining the store’s landscape, parking lots, and vegetation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. This team manages seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice control, while operating specialized equipment safely and efficiently. They collaborate closely with management and third‑party providers to uphold quality standards and support facility operations. Focused on compliance with safety and environmental guidelines, the team continuously seeks improvements to enhance facility conditions and reduce costs, contributing to a well‑maintained and sustainable store exterior.

What you’ll do:

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational and safety requirements.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate purchases of parts, equipment, and supplies while controlling costs and submitting warranty claims.
• Lead third‑party providers, coach associates, and conduct performance evaluations to support team development.
• Implement upgrades and improvements to enhance facility sustainability and reduce operating costs.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Experience managing facility exterior services, including seasonal maintenance such as snow and ice removal.
• Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and resolve facility and equipment issues promptly.
• Skilled in coordinating purchases, cost control, and budget preparation for maintenance projects.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to guide third‑party providers and support team development.
