Wax “A” operators are responsible for pattern inspection, pattern sub‑assembly, mold assembly (including gating into finished molds), pinner/robot operations, engraving, and 35 Ton/50 Ton/ET‑50/SI‑250 injection. Wax “B” injectors and cell operators must complete a minimum of 90 days of training and pass written and practical assessments at the end of the skills training. Previous qualified internal employees may interview for a Wax “A” position if their training record meets the required specifications.

Selected individuals will undergo refresher training and then be promoted from Operator “B” status to Operator “A” status.

• Basic computer skills.
• Read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
• Work as a member of a team under general supervision.
• Maintain expected quality levels.
• Comply with all site‑required policies and procedures, including EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct, and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.

• Set up equipment for specific activities.
• Set up dimensional gauges.
• Inspects cores and wax patterns using supplied gauging to specified tolerances.
• Inspects all patterns and decides to accept, repair, or scrap the part per documented instructions.
• Follow established protocol for notifying potential deviations or scrap trends.
• Attach the pattern to the gating and seal per the specified method.
• Perform seal operations as specified, including dip seal operations ensuring gates are sealed on the mold but not over dipped.
• Perform sub‑assembly of multiple airfoil patterns.
• Responsible for the quality of the entire mold assembly.
• Perform repetitive injection and control of wax patterns and sprues.
• Determine acceptance, rejection, or repair of patterns per documented instructions.
• Utilize necessary fixturing or gauges to ensure dimensional conformance of patterns, molds, cores, etc.
• Perform specified operations during injection cycle (torch sprues, seal, and pour cup).
• Maintain necessary supplies for the area to maximize productivity.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Follow 5S rules and procedures.
• Utilize help chain when needed (Human Performance, BOLO).
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Comply with all department, facility, corporate, and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Requires wearing safety glasses, gloves, and Metatarsal shoes.
• Report all job‑related illness and injuries per the Employee Handbook.
• Report all safety, health, and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.

• Stair climbing.
• Reaching near, far, and overhead.
• Pushing, pulling, twisting, and handling.
• Lifting from floor-to-waist, waist-to-chest, and chest-to-overhead.
• Finger press, use of keyboard, mouse, and tolerance of hand/arm vibration.
• Gripping and pinching.
• Carry items with two hands.
• Carry items with one hand.
• Work requires moderate physical effort including prolonged standing.
• Squatting, crouching, bending when retrieving stored items from lower shelves, moving equipment, and product inspections.
• Lifting >5 lbs.
• Must pass Jaeger I eye exam.

• Work environment: chemical and physical exposures; works in air‑conditioned area; slight exposure to chemicals, fumes, oil, dust, noise, and heat or cold.

• Vision

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Applicants must be able to lawfully obtain access to export‑controlled items as required.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of wax operations.
