Exciting Per Diem NNP opportunity to join Pediatrix Medical Group at United Regional Healthcare System in Wichita Falls!

United Regional Hospital is a prominent healthcare institution serving Wichita Falls, TX, and the surrounding communities. As a Level II Special Care Nursery designated facility, United Regional can provide care for infants with a 30‑week or longer gestational age and a birth weight greater than 1,250 grams who have physiological immaturity, or who have problems that resolve rapidly and do not require sub‑specialty services urgently. In the Special Care Nursery, we collaborate with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists to care for infants so that they can remain in our community without separation from their moms and dads while they receive the specialized care they need.

• Neonatologist covers level II NICU and newborn nursery
• Hospital in partnership with Pediatrix working towards level III NICU designation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns in the level II NICU
• Enjoy a supportive work environment and access to advanced technology in the state‑of‑the‑art NICU facility
• Provide family‑centered care and support parents during their newborn's NICU stay, fostering strong communication and collaboration
• Opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical research projects aimed at advancing neonatal care
• 24‑hour in‑house shifts

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• Active TX or Compact state license required
