We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER, part of HCA Healthcare. The CNC will ensure and deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions on the unit during the designated shift.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator oversees the delivery of high quality, patient-centered care on the unit/department during the shift, collaborating with the management team, monitoring nursing care, serving as a resource for staff, and modeling a commitment to the organization’s vision and mission.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient-care quality, collaborating with management.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to improve engagement.
- Recommend and implement hiring, training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient-care needs.
- Maintain inventory control and assist with supplies and equipment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with RN diploma required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- No travel required.
- No prior experience required.
