TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

• Pay: based on 12‑hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patients.
• Educate patients about surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physician.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in a medical‑surgical setting.
• BLS certification (minimum 2 years).
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
