Role Overview :

As a Pediatric Nurse at Bright Star Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in a home setting. You’ll work closely with the clinical team and the patient’s family to ensure safety and comfort while maintaining a high standard of care. This is an on-site position located in Wichita Falls, Texas, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care during 12-hour overnight shifts.

Manage and monitor tube feedings for the patient.

Care for and maintain a Mickey Button (G-tube).

Monitor for seizure activity and respond appropriately.

Implement aspiration precautions and ensure patient safety.

Complete accurate nursing documentation.

Communicate effectively with family members and the clinical team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Current RN license in Texas.

Experience in pediatric nursing, especially with complex needs.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with families.

Compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing.

Knowledge of tube feeding and seizure precaution management.

Bonus If You:

Have certifications in pediatric nursing or related fields.

Possess additional languages skills, especially Spanish.

Have previous experience in a private-duty nursing environment.
