Are you an experienced Business Development professional with a background in commercial mechanical construction? We're seeking a driven individual who can identify new opportunities, build strong industry relationships, and help secure high-value projects across a range of sectors.

This role combines business development and preconstruction expertise, making it ideal for someone who understands the construction market and can confidently engage with contractors, developers, owners, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, owners, architects, engineers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, and multifamily construction markets.
  • Generate and secure negotiated, design-build, and plan/spec projects.
  • Create and implement business development strategies to drive growth and increase market presence.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to build relationships and uncover opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in business development, construction sales, estimating, project management, or a combination of these areas.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and commercial mechanical construction.
  • Experience estimating commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and win new business.
  • Existing industry contacts and relationships are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as required.
