We’re seeking a skilled and proactive PLC Technician to support and enhance our manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment, with a strong focus on PLC systems and electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems across manufacturing equipment
- Develop and modify advanced Allen-Bradley PLC logic to support operational efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve issues within PLC circuits, electrical systems, and automated processes
- Design and build control panels and interface systems for machinery and production lines
- Evaluate existing equipment and recommend automation improvements using PLC technology
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support motor drives and power transmission systems
- Maintain and service plant electrical infrastructure, including switch gear and related components
- Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics, repairs, and installations throughout the facility
- Track and document equipment performance, including barrel and screw inventory, maintenance history, and throughput data
- Support both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities as needed
- Recognize when additional expertise or resources are required and elevate appropriately
- Adhere to all company safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Strong experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration
- Hands‑on knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to take on a wide range of maintenance responsibilities in a manufacturing environment
