Hours: 8am to 5pm. Monday through Friday.

Role Summary and Strategic Impact
F.G. Haggerty is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer / Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and properties. This position is responsible for performing a variety of general labor tasks, including grounds maintenance, hauling debris, facility upkeep, transporting materials, and assisting with shop operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, clean-cut, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to help keep our operations running smoothly.
Core Responsibilities
I. Grounds & Facility Maintenance
- Mow, trim, and maintain company grounds.
- Remove weeds, brush, and overgrown vegetation.
- Haul and dispose of tree branches, debris, and other materials.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping and general property upkeep.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance of company facilities.
II. General Labor & Shop Support
- Perform general labor duties around the shop and company properties.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
- Assist with facility maintenance projects, repairs, and clean-up.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.
- Support shop personnel and field crews with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
III. Transportation & Equipment
- Safely operate company trucks and pull trailers as needed.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment between company locations and job sites.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
- Keep company vehicles, trailers, and equipment clean and organized.
- Report equipment damage or maintenance needs promptly.
IV. Safety & Professionalism
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean-cut, professional appearance while representing F.G. Haggerty.
- Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Experience: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Experience operating trucks and pulling trailers is preferred. Previous experience in general labor, grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, or facility maintenance is preferred but not required. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and other maintenance equipment. Ability to safely load, secure, and transport materials and equipment. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Frequent bending, lifting, standing, walking, and climbing. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation and Benefits (Wichita Falls, TX)
- Base Salary Range: $20-$25 per hour
