Reporting to the Controller, this role supports the company's financial operations through month-end close activities, project accounting, revenue recognition, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Month-End Close- Assist with the preparation of monthly GAAP financial statements.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze account balances and investigate variances.
- Support monthly reporting package preparation.
- Support project accounting activities across multiple business units.
- Assist with monthly revenue recognition processes.
- Coordinate time‑and‑material and fixed‑price project billings.
- Support sales and use tax reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly operational and financial reports.
- Maintain and review accounts receivable records.
- Apply customer payments accurately and timely.
- Provide backup support for billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
- Assist with account reconciliations and collections activities as needed.
- Assist with financial audits and income tax preparation.
- Develop reporting metrics that support business decision-making.
- Become a subject matter expert on company accounting systems and assist with employee training.
- Support special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Exceptional business math and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self‑motivated team player with a strong work ethic.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Sound reasoning and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while managing competing deadlines.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat throughout the workday.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain attention to detail.
This position primarily works in an office environment with occasional travel or off‑site work as business needs require. The role involves regular interaction with employees, customers, vendors, and business partners.
