Process Accountant - Grain

Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking an on‑site POET Grain Accountant located in Wichita, KS. In this role you will work closely with grain teams at bioprocessing facilities and grain customers to ensure accurate payments, accurate general ledger entries and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with teams across the POET system to facilitate efficient information flow.
• Process grain settlements and issue accurate, timely payments to grain customers.
• Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements related to transaction processing.
• Document processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years’ accounting experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) and financial statements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to embrace change and see the big picture.
