** Full Time Friends University is seeking to fill an Accounting Clerk position in Wichita Kansas. This position is responsible for overseeing the cash receipting function, which includes managing the processing of payments, handling financial transactions, and ensuring accurate financial records. Preform accounting functions under the direction of the Controller.

** Qualifications
* * Six months’ experience in a similar position is required.
A high school education or GED.
Work normally involves contact with people beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (visitors or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in aiding and information. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner is required.
Proficiency in word processing and database experience required (Microsoft Office preferred).
