Full‑Time Accounting Assistant
Job Type: Monday‑Friday, 8AM‑5PM

Jump Start Stores is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Full‑Time Accounting Assistant to support our finance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are pursuing or have completed a degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, processing and applying accounts payable, compiling and submitting reports, and assisting with journal entries and various day‑to‑day accounting tasks.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process and apply accounts payable transactions.
• Compile and submit financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries.
• Support general accounting functions, including data entry and record‑keeping.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

• Valid U.S. citizenship.
• Currently pursuing or has obtained a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with flexibility to adjust as needed.
