This is an internship at Forvis Mazars US, located in Wichita. This role provides practical experience in public accounting by contributing to client engagements and supporting financial reporting processes. - Tech Stack:
Microsoft Office suite
- Audit Testing:
Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts, such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets. - Account Reconciliation:
Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data. - Report Drafting:
Help to draft management letter comments and assist in preparing the audit report. - Client Participation:
Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
- Background:
Entry-Level. Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility, maintain satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework, and hold a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. - Experience:
Reliable transportation to and from your assigned office is required, along with the ability to attend off‑site meetings and events in person. - Skills:
Solid technical accounting knowledge, effective time management, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with a team as well as independently, and close attention to detail. - Bonus:
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, are preferred.
