WhatYou Will Do
- Welcoming and checking in patients with a friendly, professional attitude
- Checking out patients and reviewing treatment plans, financial information, and follow-up instructions
- Scheduling appointments and managing provider schedules efficiently
- Coordinating referral management and communication with referring offices
- Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining necessary information prior to appointments
- Preparing and creating patient charts to ensure accurate and organized records
- Answering phones and assisting patients with questions and appointment requests
- Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
- Supporting day-to-day front office operations in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative team members to ensure excellent patient care
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment

- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience in a dental or healthcare office is required
- Knowledge of insurance verification and scheduling systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in a medical or dental office required
- Advanced multi-line phone management skills, with the ability to handle a high call volume professionally and efficiently
- Strong appointment-scheduling accuracy, especially when coordinating surgical procedures and managing complex patient workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, patient-focused approach
- Proficiency with computers and practice-management software, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills, including managing referrals, tracking documentation, and maintaining orderly front‑desk processes
- Positive, team-oriented attitude, with the ability to collaborate well and contribute to a supportive work environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and composure
