We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Front Desk Office Coordinator to join our top-tier Oral Surgery Practice. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and operating the front office efficiently.
Responsibilities- Welcoming and checking in patients with a friendly, professional attitude
- Checking out patients, reviewing treatment plans, financial information, and follow-up instructions
- Scheduling appointments and managing provider schedules efficiently
- Coordinating referral management and communicating with referring offices
- Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining necessary information prior to appointments
- Preparing and creating patient charts to ensure accurate and organized records
- Answering phones and assisting patients with inquiries and appointment requests
- Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
- Supporting day-to-day front office operations in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative team members to ensure excellent patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ years experience in a medical or dental office (required)
- Advanced multi-line phone management skills with high call volume
- Strong appointment scheduling accuracy, especially for surgical procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-focus
- Proficiency with computers and practice‑management software; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage referrals, track documentation, maintain orderly front‑desk processes
- Team-oriented attitude, willingness to collaborate and support the team
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced setting and balance multiple responsibilities
- Reliability in managing time‑sensitive tasks and supporting daily clinic operations
- Experience in dental or healthcare office (preferred), knowledge of insurance verification and scheduling systems (plus)
- Positive customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
