Scheduling Coordinator

Department: Front Office

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Wichita, KS

Reporting To: Liberty Collins

Compensation: $15.00 - $23.00 / hour

Description

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing our scheduling processes. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized and efficient scheduling system while ensuring a positive experience for clients or patients.

Schedule Monday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients, patients, or customers regarding appointment details.
  • Maintain updated records of appointments and contact information.
  • Ensure schedules are optimized to prevent conflicts or delays.
  • Send reminders and follow-ups to clients or patients.
  • Address scheduling issues and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist with inquiries.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 + years of dental experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Occasional lifting, moving, or carrying of items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform light physical tasks related to office organization and maintenance
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including proximity to dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
