Land Technician

Wichita, KS

Direct hire – Full-Time - Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without assistance

Pay: $60,000–$70,000 base salary depending on experience, plus approximately 10% annual bonus opportunity.

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, on-site position.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Land Technician to support land administration, data management, and system improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with the land team to maintain accurate records, organize critical information, and support the implementation and optimization of land management systems.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring accuracy across complex information systems. This individual will play an important role in helping the organization streamline land operations and improve data visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and organize land documentation, including title information, ownership records, leases, and related legal documents.
  • Maintain accurate land data within internal systems and databases.
  • Assist with implementation and optimization of land management software.
  • Support data cleanup, organization, and migration efforts.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze, track, and manage land-related information.
  • Partner with land, legal, accounting, and operational teams to improve workflows.
  • Assist with mapping and land record updates as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and system processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and systems.
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills.
