Your Role:
Manufacturing Associate Intern – Elwood, Kansas (Summer 2027) As a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the TSMS team at our Elwood, Kansas manufacturing plant, contributing to a hands‑on technical project focused on improving processes, solving business challenges, and supporting operational excellence.

• Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements
• Learn about quality control, mAbs production, product recovery, product finishing, or companion animal packaging
• Study design improvement processes

Education:

Currently enrolled in an Engineering major including (but not limited to) Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process

• Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn

• Prior internship or professional experience in a life-science industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision

• Travel: 10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing
