This role is at Spirit Aero Systems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units(“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

Position ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations. Business Operations interns support integrated business teams by coordinating plans, schedules, data, actions, and decision support across functions. Interns may assist with business and program operations, integrated planning and scheduling, project management, performance reporting, process improvement, risk and issue tracking, and executive-level communication.
Potential internship assignments may include- Integrated business planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Project management, action tracking, and risk/issue management
- Business analytics, metrics, dashboards, and leadership reporting
- Process improvement and cross-functional execution support
These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)- Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027
- Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
- Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
- Majoring in one of the following:
Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Technical Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields - The ability to relocate and work onsite
