The primary objective of this position is to lead Parts Logistics Margin Improvement Projects. You will gather and analyze data for maintaining of projects, prepare and publish periodic reports, charts, and provide status on financial tracking to approved projects. Act as a single point of contact between involved departments affecting assigned projects. You may be called upon to develop processes within the Pricing department as it pertains to value or market based pricing, and to align these new processes with SAP system workflow.
The position will also require a focus on establishing a strategy to align parts pricing with market expectations. This position will work with various internal departments. Analysis, trend identification, and recommending day-to-day actions (in line with a typical business analyst scope of work) will also be expected.
- Adhere to General Work Requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while focused on deadlines
- Identify, implement and enhance tools related to spare part pricing processes and ensure proper use
- Quantify the financial and market impact of implementing potential improvements
- Review part lists ensuring spare part pricing reflect market value.
- Prepare communications/presentations as it pertains to pricing project
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance, with 2-5 years experience in Aerospace.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SAP) are essential.
- Aerospace spare parts industry experience and a strong understanding of the spare parts marketplace
- Understanding Spare parts pricing as it pertains to overall margins.
- Strong customer service focus, as well as excellent people and teamwork skills.
- Working knowledge of financial calculations
- Basic knowledge knowledge of aviation terminology
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to solve problems
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting
